When you connect calendars, we collect:

  • Calendar feed URLs — The ICS feed URLs you provide are encrypted and stored securely
  • Calendar events — Event titles, times, locations, and descriptions from your connected calendars
  • OAuth connections — If you connect via Google, Microsoft, or Apple, we store access tokens to sync your calendars

Usage Data

We automatically collect certain information when you use peeq:

  • Device and browser information
  • IP address
  • Pages visited and features used
  • Date and time of access

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Display your aggregated calendar events on your dashboard
  • Show local weather based on your location
  • Send authentication emails (magic links for sign-in)
  • Sync your calendars automatically

Data Retention

We believe in minimal data storage:

  • Calendar events — We only store events within a rolling window (approximately two weeks of future events and a few days of past events). Older events are automatically deleted.
  • Sync logs — Calendar sync logs are retained for 30 days for debugging purposes, then automatically deleted.
  • Account data — Retained until you request account deletion.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers — Third-party services that help us operate peeq (hosting, email delivery, payment processing)
