Welcome to peeq! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the peeq calendar dashboard service ("Service") operated by peeq ("we", "us", or "our"). By using peeq, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using peeq, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

peeq is a calendar aggregation and dashboard service that allows you to:

  • Connect multiple calendar feeds from various providers
  • View all your events in a unified dashboard
  • Display your dashboard on various devices including tablets and e-ink displays
  • Access weather information based on your location

3. Account Registration

To use peeq, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Share calendar feeds that you do not have permission to access
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use automated systems to access the Service in a manner that exceeds reasonable use
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service

5. Calendar Data

You retain ownership of your calendar data. By using peeq, you grant us a limited license to:

  • Access and retrieve events from your connected calendar feeds
  • Store and display your events on your dashboard
  • Process your data as necessary to provide the Service

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any calendar feeds you connect to peeq.

6. Subscription and Payments

peeq offers both free and paid subscription tiers. For paid subscriptions:

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are provided at our discretion and in accordance with applicable law

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. We may:

  • Perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability
  • Modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice
  • Suspend accounts that violate these Terms

8. Third-Party Services

peeq integrates with third-party services including Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, Apple iCloud, and weather data providers. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding your calendar data), is owned by peeq and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PEEQ SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless peeq and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through your profile settings. We may terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
  • We will delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which peeq operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable rules.
